Loss of $64,000 at 2008 bash leads to reconsideration
The organizers of the Collingwood Elvis Festival pitched a downsized festival to council earlier this week following a reversal of fortune in 2008.
The festival lost $64,000 for a variety of reasons last year, manager Rosemarie O’Brien told council at Monday’s meeting.

Now that a plus twenty thousand dollar deficit has been reported for the Elvis Festival for 2008 wouldn’t it be prudent to say that it was fun while it lasted but it is now time to move on?
